"Azadliq" opposition bloc and Baku police prepare for a rally tomorrow

The Baku Executive Power proposed oppositionists to rally at the stadium (Motodrom) of Voluntary Military-Patriotism and Technical Sport Community in Bilajary settlement from 15:00 till 17:00 on December 18. Arguing that the opposition cannot behave itself and is breaching public tranquility the Baku Executive Power rejected opposition's request for the rally to be held at the Gelebe square.

The leaders of "Azadlig" held a meeting to discuss EP's answer and decided to organize rally at one of the following places: in front of Jafar Jabbarly monument [28 May square], square in front of the Nariman Narimanov cinema, Fizuli square.

The bloc sent an address to the Baku Executive Power on Friday, however, the leaders of the bloc promised to hold the rally on December 18 no matter what the city authorities are going to say about it.
