Congress of Musavat Party to be held after re-elections

Although the arrangement of date of the regular congress of Musavat party was intended at the gathering of the party held last week, such a decision was not made at the gathering.
Vurgun Ayyub chief of organization committee on preparation for congress, deputy party chief told APA that members of Council didn’t have unity of opinion on the congress.

Concrete decision will be made on this issue at the gathering of Musavat Party to be held in late January: “The stance of international organizations will be made clear in January. So, the council will hold one more meeting late January. At this meeting the party will give final assessment to the parliament elections and the steps of party to be taken afterwards will be made clear”.

As to the information spread in media that Musavat will leave ‘Azadliq” bloc in January, V.Ayyub said that they do not think of that. As for the other deputy chief of the party Sulahddin Akbar’s proposal Musavat’s strictly joining PFPA (f), ADP and Vahdat party, the deputy chief of the party, V.Ayyub said that this proposal does not mean that Musavat Party will leave from “Azadliq” bloc: “Sulhaddin Akbar considers important such integration so that the opposition can jointly struggle”.
