Period of broadcast of Russia ORT TV-channel in Azerbaijan to be prolonged for one more year

For the purpose of prolonging the period of broadcast of the Russia ORT TV-channel in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies (MCIT) has already presented the draft of that contract to the Russian State TV-Radio Company.
APA was informed from the “Teleradio” Production Union of MCIT that in these days the Russian side is expected to give a positive response to Azerbaijan in this connection. The new contract intends broadcasting of the TV-channel in Azerbaijan for the period of one more year in the territory of Baku city.

The TV-channel is currently broadcasted in Azerbaijan on the basis of the previous year’s contract.
