Leo Platfoet: "No secret prisons of U.S. CIA exist in Azerbaijan"

As ANS informs, Terry Davis, Secretary-General of PACE managed to include the issue into agenda of winter session of PACE.

During the discussions on January 27, the Temporary Assessment Report made on secret prisons problem by Dick Marti, will be revealed for the communities. Mr. Platfoet says investigations didn’t reveal any such prison in CIC countries, including Azerbaijan, “Georgia, and Armenia.

Anyhow, the Council of Europe has revealed the states having secret prisons in their territories. Poland and Rumania are in that list. Currently the number of secret prisons in those countries is investigated.

According to Leo Platfoet, investigations on CIA secret prisons in the territories of CE countries are going on.
