Conference on Azerbaijan-NATO relations held in Baku

“NATO accepts the occupation fact of Azerbaijani lands.” said the Conference organized by the Press Club for Friends of Army on “Azerbaijan-NATO Relations: Realities and Perspectives” held in Baku with participation of PMs, representatives of the Defense Ministry, and the Embassy of Turkey to Azerbaijan.

As ANS informs, conference participants noted Azerbaijan has increased its opportunities on strengthening cooperation in military field, and bringing new military supplies to Azerbaijan since the new cooperation stage launched in 2004 between Azerbaijan-NATO.

Since the, Azeri military personnel has participated in above 300 events in various topics. It was told that Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries, which has high level relations with NATO.

Establishment of such relations is bearing a significant importance for such countries like Azerbaijan, and Armenia, who have a problem like Nagorno Karabakh.

At the end of the event the participants addressed to Mass Media representatives asking them to touch actively to both the theme of cooperation with NATO and generally to military field.
