He noted the European Commission implements for the last years two large programs in Azerbaijan - INOGATE and TRACECA, the main goal of which delivery of goods along the "West-East" and "East-West" corridor, Trend reports.

Responding the question on the position of the European Commission in the issue of the Baku-Tbilis-Kars-Ahalkalaki railway project realization, he noted the European Commission is not interested in making political decisions, aimed at implementation of projects, covering only half of the South Caucasus region.

Alan Waddams said in conclusion, the European Commission is eager to pay much attention to South Caucasus and will address its efforts to establishing regional cooperation.
