Andres Herkel: PACE pre-election mission to Azerbaijan not formed yet

"The composition of the pre-election mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on Azerbaijan and the date of its visit to Baku are not identified yet", the PACE co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andres Herkel told.

As Trend informs, Herkel noted that in any case, they would arrive in Baku prior to by-elections, but having not ruled out the mission's possible previous composition, which was headed by the Dutch parliamentarian Leo Platvoet.

"I suppose, apart from me, the team will be composed of another co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan Andreas Gross and Leo Platvoed", the co-rapporteur said.
