As APA reports, OSCE Minsk Group co-chair from US Steven Mann told "Azadliq" radio in his interview that co-chairs is visiting Baku and Yerevan in order to prepare for negotiations in France: "Presidents will hold discussions in Paris under auspicious of co-chairs on invitation of French president Jacque Chirac. We are working in framework of "Prague process" for about two months. Serious and many-sided discussions were held between the two sides. Presidents met in order to hold negotiations on Karabakh. Everybody acknowledges that, we are in the stage of passing from talks to decision. Taking into account the stance of US, I can say that we believe that there is an opportunity for peace agreement. I think that, meetings to be held within two weeks are an important opportunity. I can again say on behalf of US side that we don't want the two sides to miss this important opportunity".
Steven Mann didn't concretely touch what would be discussed in Paris, but he said a number of issues on Nagorno Karabakh resolution expected to be discussed: "It is a long time that, the process is in the right direction. We observe very important results for sides. Any agreement should yield victory result for the both sides, there should be something for the both sides in the agreement. I think that discussions are going in this direction. But these are very difficult problems. If the problems hadn’t been difficult, they would have been solved a long time ago. The both presidents and foreign ministers display good will. But despite good will, the issues are very challenging. So, I wouldn't like to delay the problems we have to deal with".
