Security Ministry completes official visit to Hungary

The visit was paid at the invitation of the General Director of the National Security Department, Layosh Galanbosh. During the meeting Mahmudov stressed the importance of development of the Azerbaijani-Hungarian relationships. In his turn Galanbosh informed Mahmudov about the activities of the National Security Department.

In his turn Mahmudov informed his Hungarian counterpart on the occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani territory as a result of Armenian aggression in early 1990s, as well as deportation of over 1 million Azerbaijanis from their native lands. He also noted the country’s successes in fighting with the international crime, illegal migration.

Under the visit Mahmudov also met with some officials of Hungary to discuss issues of mutual concern, the Ministry of National Security told Trend.
