YAP held nationwide congress

According to the information given to APA from the Party, the YAP vice-chair, executive secretary of the Party Ali Ahmadov spoke about the achievements gained and forthcoming duties in the congress.

A.Ahmadov saying "We can not relax after these achievements we gained" stressed the importance of further improvement of the organizational work: "We should also seriously prepare for the presidential elections to be held in 2008."

The YAP vice-chair noted that some shortcomings had been revealed as a result of inspections conducted in the city and regional branches and stressed that those shortcomings should be removed in a short period.

A.Ahmadov expressing his attitude to the speeches of the chairs of the regional branches said that the city and regional branches should further expand individual relations with the subordinate organizations and members of the Party: "Besides, the city and regional branches should get in touch with the central headquarters of the Party every day and use the opportunities of the computer technology for this purpose more widely."

A.Ahmadov also expressed his displeasure on the quality of propaganda spread among the population: "All members of the Party must be mobilized in this issue. Citizens must be explained the essence of stability in the country and besides, propaganda of economic achievements and diplomatic successes gained must be conducted in a high level."
