Viktor Yushchenko will not visit Baku

"The date of the visit will be coordinated according to the working schedules of both Presidents", said the Ambassador, as APA informs.

Mr Aliyev also commented the intention of Ukrainian side to pay the visit before the elections to Supreme Rada of Ukraine in March.

He said the run-up for the elections is very active in Ukraine: "There are a lot of things to do, over 50 parties and blocs have nominated their candidacies, 8 parties and elections bloc has a chance to get over the barrier of 3%. Some tension is observed in the country due to lack of common agreement between the alliances and the parties. Therefore, it sounds unconvincing that Viktor Yushchenko will pay a visit to Azerbaijan before the parliamentary elections".
