Khojaly Genocide commemorated in Tbilisi

14th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide was commemorated in "Youth Palace" in Tbilisi.

Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia organized there factual exhibition. Photos and books were presented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The event was attended by Georgian government, MPs, Azerbaijani and Georgian public figures, heads of diplomatic missions of Turkey, Iran, China, Vatican, Ukraine and other countries.

The Khojaly Genocide victims were previously remembered in science. Azerbaijani charge d'affaires in Georgia Surkhay Aliyev gave information to the participants. He said that this genocide's an unprecedented tragedy and it's the most atrocious and brutal vandalism and barbarism committed by Armenians at the end of 20th century.

Diplomat also stated that Khojali massacre is mentioned along with Auschwitz, Kernika, Liditsa, Khatin, Oradur, Songmi and other tragedies. Even US Congress announced Khojali genocide the tragedy of 1992.

Finally "Razed City" film dedicated to Khojali genocide was shown.

Gardabani events on 14th anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide to be held by the support of Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, APA reports.
