Foreign Minister: Kuwait highly appreciates Azerbaijan's role in the Non-Aligned Movement

Kuwait praises Azerbaijan's role in the Non-Aligned Movement and the promotion of the organization's leadership in the world, Azernews reports, citing the Ministerial Meeting.

Foreign Minister of Kuwait Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Baku.

The Minister also thanked Azerbaijan for the excellent organization of the event.

"Today we must intensify our efforts to achieve peace and stability to prevent global challenges," he said.

Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also called for international condemnation of the act of burning the Koran in Stockholm: "Concrete measures must be taken on this to ensure respect for all religions.
