Armenian Defence Minister: "NATO may not rely upon Armenia acting against Iran"

"Armenia does not even theoretically consider possible offering of its territory for NATO military contingent's deployment, if tension, concerning Iran nuclear program, heightens," stated Secretary of Presidential National Security Council, Defence Minister of Armenia Serge Sarkisyan.

The Defence Minister doubted, that anybody is able to develop really serious peacekeeping program in Karabakh region. "It is necessary to receive mutual consent of parties or to come to an agreement for development of such program. I believe one may speak about it only after parties will have reached agreement. Every talk about peacekeeping forces is premature, till there is some agreement," concluded Serge Sarkisyan, informs Noyan Tapan agency.
