Isa Gambar: "We have source in President's Office and they can't find him"

10 March 2006 [17:00] - TODAY.AZ
Musavat Party chief Isa Gambar answered the allegations of PFPA, ADP and National Unity Movement at the press conference on Friday.

Mr.Gambar said that he takes a stance on the accusations for the last time and ends the mutual accusations. Mr. Gambar said that PFPA and ADP leadership told lots of lies, APA informs.

"They tell a lie that Musavat has changed its political orientation. Our position remains unchanged. They say we disobeyed the commitments. We didn't undertake any engagements for not attending the parliament sessions. They say that cooperation with Musavat is impossible. In reality, they decided to act without Musavat. Their statements read that they burned the bridges behind them on purpose.

On the other hand, although they are in a bloc, they have different goals and targets. The statements are contradictory. I know them very well. They consider themselves as huge politician, although they are in discredited plight, but they are discrediting me. I call on them to be careful and not to make mistake. Playful people should end the game. This will harm them."

As for Sardar Jalaloglu's statement that before the elections, Isa Gambar had the ruling party candidates' list worked out in the President's Office, Mr. Gambar acknowledged this information.

"The government worked out candidate lists on the eve of the elections. Of course, they worked out various list versions and we managed to get some of them. We have a source in the President's Office. They can't find him. I showed this list to them to make correct decision. This list helped us to regulate our work. If they speculate, it is their own business."

Mr.Gambar also answered Rasul Guliyev's accusations.

"Rasul Guliyev and the government are the two faces of a medal. The recent happenings proved this fact. Rasul Guliyev became a teacher in all spheres and teaches everybody. If we made a mistake, why didn't he make a correct move? We did our utmost for him to return to Azerbaijan but he didn't. Rasul Guliyev and his supporters say that the regime will be changed, if he returns to Azerbaijan. But I say Rasul Guliyev will return to Azerbaijan if the regime is changed."
