President Aliyev receives Romanian Defense Minister

The head of the country said that Romania was one of the first countries recognized Azerbaijan's independence. He underlined successful development of the bilateral ties.
Aliyev highly appreciated his visit to Romania and touched upon signing of some important bilateral agreements. The Azerbaijani President voiced hope that the current visit of Atanasiu to the country would stimulate expansion of the cooperation in the defense.

In his turn, Atanasiu said that during the visit the sides signed some agreements on development of the bilateral military cooperation. The guest voiced hope for the further bilateral cooperation, Trend reports.
