Iran ready to host Caspian states summit

"Iran is ready to host the second summit of Caspian states," head of the secretariat for the Caspian Sea of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Mochtaba Damirchilu said at a briefing in Moscow on Wednesday after a meeting of a special working group on defining the legal status of the sea, Interfax reports.

"The Iranian delegation held a number of consultations with Caspian states in order to define the date of the summit," he said.

"As soon as there is an agreement on a specific date will make it known," he said.
