8 employees of the Israeli diplomatic mission and 1 Israeli citizen, arrived in Baku from Georgia, will participate in the vote, Trend reports quoting Arthur Lenk, the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
"Don't think a few people will vote in Baku. For example, the number of the voters in Burma is 1 or 2," Lenk stressed. He noted that the largest number of the citizens (900) in abroad will vote at the Israeli diplomatic mission in New York.
"The box will be sent to Israel to be opened during the general counting of votes," Lenk underlined. He said that the results of the vote will be publicized after counting of votes of over 5 million Israelis.
It should be mentioned that elections to the 17 Knesset is scheduled for 28 March 2006. The total number of the election stations will comprise 8,519. Over 30 political parties will ballot in the elections. The election system of Israel is proportional i.e. electorate vote not for exact candidates, but political parties.
