Foreign Ministry comments Suleymani's statement.

"Islamic Republic of Iran and Azerbaijan have friendly and kind neighborhood relations. Principles of these relations were reflected in documents signed by our leaders and remain unchanged. Social organizations' statements at the World Azerbaijanis Congress II are their personal opinions," FM spokesman, Tahir Tagizade told APA in his interview.

Taking a stance on the Iranian Ambassador Afshar Suleymani's statement on the congress and Azerbaijani government, Tahir Tagizade stated that in every country ambassador's emotional statements may harm the cooperation built on the basis of friendly and cordial neighborhood principles.
