Conference of Popular Front Party classic wing held

Classics wing of Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan held conference on March 26.

According to APA, the PFPA (c) chair Mirmahmud Miralioghlu said that 258 of 310 persons from 67 regional branches attended the congress.

After the chairmanship, secretariat, mandate and drafting committees of the congress were elected, the agenda of the event was defined.

According to the agenda, the chair of the party Mirmahmud Miralioghlu gave a report.

The vice-chair of PFPA (c) Zalimkhan Mammadli started his speech criticizing the chair of the party and some persons represented in the management: "Today PFPA is facing a serious problem. The chair of the party is responsible for it. His weak organization capability and artificial charisma reduced the ranks of the party. There is no gravity in our party. The party must be saved from confrontation. The name of the party should have been changed several years ago. It is a delayed step."

The member of the Khatai region branch Allahverdi Sadakhli also spoke about resentment against the management of the party: "Party's leaders can not issue correct decisions. There is no democratic climate in the organization and our party is weak from the organizational view-point."

The member of the Yasamal region branch Nisa Veliyeva demanded Zalimkhan Mammadli and Ogtay Gulaliyev to leave the party. According to her, those persons create divergence among party's members.

After the speeches a proposal on stopping the activity of the party under the name of PFPA was put to the vote and adopted. After the break the establishment congress of the Classic Popular Front Party (CPFP) was held. The Central Initiative Group gave a talk and program and regulations of the party were adopted with changes and amendments.
