US State Secretary advisor and State Department's representative to visit Azerbaijan

"Both representatives of the State Department will arrive to Baku next week," Henick said. The goal of the visit is participation at the international conference on transparency in the oil sector.

The next (4th) meeting of the International Consulting Group of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) will be held in Baku April 5. International conference named "EITI: piloting countries experience" will be held within the frames of this meeting (April 6).

Representatives of USA, UK, Russia, Egypt, Nigeria, Peru, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan will take part at the conference. Heads of the US, UK, French, Norwegian and Kazakh diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan will also participate at the conference, Trend reports.
