Mazahir Panahov meets OSCE representatives

Head of OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Department for Elections Gerald Mitchell and general councilor of the organization Jonathan Stonestreet are on a visit in Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijan's Election Commission (CEC).

As APA reports, OSCE representatives met with the CEC chairman Mazahir Panahov.

The sides exchanged views on preparation for by-elections scheduled for May 13 and fulfillment of election observation mission.

Mr. Mitchell said that he would discuss election observation mission with the OSCE/ODIHR. He also said that there would not be a great number of observers in these elections.
