New provocation in US Congress: American support for Armenian "revanchism"

The US Congress will host an event dedicated to the so-called "Artsakh - the burst bubble of Armenian mythology. The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) happily announced that such an event would take place. It is reported that some congressmen and public figures will gather on Capitol Hill on September 19.

They say the meeting will be dedicated to "holding Azerbaijan accountable." For what? In addition, a certain program will be discussed for the "genocide" in the mythical "Artsakh", which calls for the safe return of Armenians to the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, no matter how the Armenian provocateurs and revanchists call it.

It makes sense to remind you of something right away. 

Firstly, there has never been any "Artsakh". No country in the world, including the United States, has ever recognized as reality what is nothing more than a figment of the inflamed imagination of Armenian myth-makers. 

Secondly, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly stated that he recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including the Karabakh economic region and enclaves.

Thirdly, the last leader of the Karabakh junta by the name of Shahramanyan announced the self-liquidation of this project.

Fourthly, there was no "genocide" in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan. There was a voluntary and organized departure of Armenians illegally residing in our country to Armenia. Our border guards also gave them water and sweets for the journey.

Fifthly, over 10,000 Armenians who had previously illegally resided in the temporarily occupied territories of Azerbaijan have already left Armenia for good over the past year. So, Armenians are not comfortable in Armenia. And Azerbaijan can be blamed for this with the same success as defecating against the wind. The results will be on the face. However, there are questions not only about the Armenian side.

No, using the example of the extremely corrupt Robert Menendez, we were convinced that Armenians in the United States can buy up congressmen and senators there. The only question is the price. Wholesale, I suppose, comes out cheaper. Nevertheless, American senators still need to have something at least remotely resembling a conscience. Because they are not only discrediting themselves, but also their country.

Yes, we remember that it was the US Congress that voted for the adoption of the shameful resolution 907 in 1992. In the year when Armenia occupied Shusha and Lachin, when Genocide was committed against the peaceful Azerbaijani population in Khojaly, we saw such a step by the US Congress. And this is the stain that the American side will never get rid of.

How can she not get rid of the fact that it was the United States that provided annual and official financial assistance to the Karabakh junta. Yes, Armenian American organizations lobbied for this decision, but it was American congressmen who voted for it. And no phrases that "congressmen in the United States are independent" will wash away this stain. Because in reality it is a primitive lie and an attempt to justify anti-Azerbaijani actions.

Alas, the current event in the US Congress is also such a stain. Moreover, we see the deepening military-technical cooperation between the United States and Armenia. In fact, Washington supports Armenian "revanchism" in various forms and manifestations. In this regard, I would like to remind you of what the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mark Libby, demonstrated to ITV. He, in a rather harsh, if not boorish manner, rejected the materials of the domestic media, in which it was clearly proved, with video and photos, that two American military aircraft with weapons and personnel arrived at Yerevan Zvartnots airport on August 2 and 3, which was then stationed in Zangezur.

The routes of the American planes were also revealed in the domestic media - they arrived in Yerevan from US military bases in Romania and Qatar. But, Ambassador Libby, who has repeatedly got into scandals, including because of his inappropriate statements and long-term unwillingness to visit the territories of our country liberated from the Armenian occupation, again behaved not diplomatically. 

Do you know what he agreed to then? Before the statement that "there are those who want to create discord, deliberately create difficulties in Azerbaijani-Armenian relations." Just like that. It was as if everything was warm, smooth and even between Azerbaijan and Armenia, but then some "forces" got in and decided to spoil everything. In reality, it is the United States that is such a force. Not only them, but they are in the forefront. And the provocative event in the US Congress is just one of the proofs of this indisputable fact.
