KLO appeals to Milli Majlis for marking May 8 as Day of Occupied Territories

The Karabakh Liberation Organization appealed to Azerbaijan's parliament for marking May 8-day of occupation of Shusha as Day of Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan.

The KLO told APA that the appeal reads that the current republic of Armenia is alleged establishment, and it's known that this state was established in the historical lands of Azerbaijan.

"However, the date of occupation of our cities and regions by Armenians is forgotten day by day. By marking the Day of Occupied Territories we can prevent our people from forgetting our territories that have been occupied by Armenians," the appeal concludes.
