After the Second Karabakh War, the truth about the Armenian
occupation fully came to light, with all its shocking details. The misanthropic
principles on which the Armenian statehood and the Armenian national idea are
built have long been well known. But the world did not want to believe that the
"most Christian" nation was capable of behaving so far from Christian
values.
The occupied territories were inaccessible for collecting
facts. After the liberation, everything that the occupiers tried to hide became
clear of the facts of unprecedented vandalism, blasphemy, and cultural
genocide. The aggressor not only left no stone unturned from settlements and
cultural and historical monuments, but also desecrated graves and sanctuaries.
There are topics that it is better for the Armenian side not
to raise - it is more expensive for themselves. Much has been said about the
destruction of Azerbaijani cemeteries by Armenians in the previously occupied
territories and in the lands of Armenia "cleared" of Azerbaijanis.
Today we decided to remind you about this once again, because Armenian bloggers
are spreading a video about the "desecration of the military
pantheon" in Khankendi on social networks. We are talking about the graves
of the occupiers, which the tribesmen did not transport to Armenia. And they
don't seem to be going to do that. Undoubtedly, the Armenian side was well
aware that no "military pantheons" would be preserved in the
territories of Azerbaijan after their liberation. This does not mean that all
of them will be immediately bulldozed, but such graves, as well as monuments to
the invaders, cannot be preserved on our lands. And the Armenian side should
have thought about removing the bodies of its "heroes" on its own.
Elementary universal logic should have suggested this. But the Armenian logic
suggested not to change anything. What for? To have reasons for hysteria and
accusations against Baku.
It's simple: if the Armenian side is so concerned about the
fate of the "military pantheons," fakes will not help resolve the
issue. She can apply to Azerbaijan for permission to collect the bodies. No one
will deny the neighbors this. They'll even help you get to the border. Let them
arrange "heroic" burials for themselves on the territory of Armenia
and worship whomever they want. And there will be no occupation pantheons on
the territory of Azerbaijan. And there is no need to rush to arguments that
somewhere there are still cemeteries of Wehrmacht soldiers. A lot of things are
different in our situation. Firstly, the dead German soldiers were not
considered heroes anywhere, even in their homeland. Secondly, the German troops
did not destroy the cemeteries themselves. Thirdly, the graves of Soviet
soldiers are also preserved in Germany. And fourthly, Nazi Germany was
responsible for what it had done, but Nazi Armenia was not.
And what do we have in our case? So far, no one has called
the Armenian army occupation out loud, openly, from an international rostrum,
and Armenians calmly exalt everyone who came to Azerbaijani soil with weapons
and was eliminated. As history shows, the Germans did not destroy cemeteries.
Even the Nazis did not reach the perversions that the Armenian occupiers
demonstrated. Non-Judaism has sunk the Armenians to the very bottom. Further,
there are no graves of Azerbaijani soldiers in Armenia, because Azerbaijan has
never waged war on the territory of this country. In addition, Azerbaijan has
always sought the return of the bodies of its soldiers who died during the
occupation during the Armenian provocations on the line of contact.
But before the conflict, there were many civilian Azerbaijani cemeteries in Armenia, including very old ones. The enemy might have started talking about the graves of the occupiers in Khankendi or Gadrug if the Azerbaijani cemeteries in Armenia had not been destroyed. The occupiers also destroyed the graves in the Armenian-occupied areas. It is very strange to hear accusations of inhumanity from a party that does not know what humanity is.
And finally, Armenia still remains unpunished. We are
talking about international measures against Yerevan for its thirty-year
occupation, ethnic cleansing, genocide and large-scale vandalism. She has not
been condemned internationally, even verbally, although her actions are subject
to a tribunal. This means that Azerbaijan reserves the right to make
decisions.
A few years ago, Armenian blogger Roman Baghdasaryan shocked
his fellow tribesmen with the truth about the looting of graves and cultural
heritage by Armenians during the occupation years. Baghdasaryan stated in a
video distributed by him that 70 percent of the tombstones in 7 districts
around the former NKAO are missing. Looters did business on tombstones.
This continued after the war, in the area of responsibility
of the Russian peacekeepers. Armenians mocked the still-preserved Azerbaijani
graves and posted these images on social media, demonstrating that they could
do anything after the war.
In 2008, a Russian blogger visited the then-occupied Aghdam.
The video he posted on social media showed, among other things, the ancient
Azerbaijani cemetery of Garagachi. These shootings have become a documentary
evidence of Armenian vandalism. But if you look at the post-war footage from
the same place, you can see that in the years since the Russian blogger's
visit, there has been even more destruction. Almost nothing remains of one of
the oldest cemeteries in the region.
It should be noted that the Garagachi cemetery is located 5 kilometers south of Aghdam. Its dimensions are large - up to 3 kilometers long and up to 2 kilometers wide. According to archaeological data, the cemetery is three thousand years old. The oldest of the tombstones that have survived to this day, or rather, those that existed before the Armenian occupation, dates back to 1174. During the years of Armenian occupation, the graves and four mausoleums located in the cemetery were destroyed.
The invaders really did terrible things that at first glance
were beyond comprehension and logic. It's hard to understand people (if they
are people at all) who rummage through graves in search of gold crowns, scatter
remains, or steal bones for some reason. Why did the Armenian nationalists so
consistently destroy Azerbaijani cemeteries in Armenia and in the previously
occupied territories? It turns out that there is an answer to this question.
And it is contained in a letter written to the President of Azerbaijan in 2011
by a certain 13-year-old Adelina Avagimyan from Karabakh. More precisely, adult
uncles who wanted to move the audience wrote on her behalf. The letter contains
the following lines: "I heard from my grandfather that before the war,
even 50 or 100 years ago, when there were Azerbaijanis here, if they died, they
were taken out of Karabakh and buried in their real homeland, because they knew
that this was not their homeland, not their land. That's why there are almost
no Azerbaijani cemeteries here."
The question may arise as to why the Azerbaijanis buried
their dead outside Karabakh. The answer is very simple. After the resettlement
of Armenians to Azerbaijan by tsarist Russia, the newcomers were granted
unlimited rights. Conditions were created for the indigenous population that
forced them to bury their relatives and friends outside of Karabakh in order to
save the newcomers from vandalism, who were prevented by Azerbaijani cemeteries
from pursuing expansionist goals. Later, the Armenian side interpreted this in
a favorable light.
Everything fell into place today. The true owners have
returned to Karabakh, and as the owner, Azerbaijan will decide for itself what
is good and right for it.
