The longer the EU's "civilian" mission operates in Armenia, the more interesting it becomes to observe their transformation. The Markuses turn into Mkrtychs, the Leonards into Levons, and the Alexes into Ashots.
Their performance is embarrassingly lazy. Kebab, mulberries, and cognac — that’s the extent of their contribution. It’s no surprise that these “observers” fail to notice Armenian shelling, and when they are forced to acknowledge it, the most they manage is to blame the Azerbaijani side. Accusations prefaced with “maybe” are hardly serious.
