Embassy in Georgia not provided with premises yet

Official Tbilisi has not yet provided Azerbaijan's Embassy in Georgia, which has been functioning since 1996, with premises.

According to APA, Georgian Foreign Ministry stated that the Azerbaijani side has been offered several new premises but they did not meet the Embassy's needs.

The Embassy spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told that the Georgian side has many times offered new buildings to the Azerbaijan's Embassy.

"However, the offered premises are not technically suitable for the Embassy. The diplomatic mission will select a proper building in Georgia itself," the spokesman said.
