Deputy PM meets delegation of Fuji Optical Co. Ltd

As AzerTAg reports, the Fuji Optical Co. Ltd is a leading manufacturer of ophthalmologic equipment in Japan.

Ali Hasanov said Azerbaijan highly appreciates humanitarian activity of the Company, which implements its projects with the support of its corporative partner UNHCR (UN High Commissioner for Refugees).

In 2005, refugees and IDPs in tent camps in Baku, Sabirabad and Absheron underwent eye examination and received eyeglasses from the Company.

This year, Fuji Optical Co. Ltd examined and distributed eyeglasses and ten hearing aids to almost four thousand people in a number of Azerbaijan's regions.

Dr. Akio Kanai, in his turn, noted that Azerbaijan is one of the countries Fuji Optical Co. Ltd had been rendering humanitarian aid to, and said his Company is ready to continue its noble mission in the future.
