Azerbaijani Prime Minister leaves for Dushanbe to attend CIS meeting

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh today left for the Tajikistani capital, Dushanbe, to attend the meeting of CIS Board of Heads of Government.

The Cabinet of Ministers told APA that the meeting has been scheduled for May 25.

The CIS Executive Committee Information and Press Department reported that the agenda of the meeting was confirmed at the meeting of Board of Foreign Ministers on 21 April. The agenda includes 22 issues. 15 issues coordinated by Board of Foreign Ministers and CIS Economic Board will be submitted to the heads of government for signature without any discussions.

The CIS heads of government will discuss the establishment of Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, development conception of education of adults, development conception of social and medical aid to war veterans, local conflict victims, peacekeeping operations participants as well as terror victims and adopt several other documents. The prime ministers will also discuss amendments to the Rules on country producing goods, Treaty of cooperation in forest industry, structure of Commonwealth Corps for relief effort in natural and man-made disasters as well as adopt a decision on united methodology in population census in the CIS countries in 2010.
