Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu is to pay an official three-day visit to Iran on Wednesday, Iranian Ambassador to the OIC Mohammad-Kazem Khansari said on Monday.

Ihsanoglu, during his stay in Tehran, is scheduled to meet with senior Iranian officials, Khansari further told IRNA.

He said that it will be the OIC chief's second visit to Iran, and added that the two sides will "discuss avenues for bolstering Iran's ties with organizations and bodies affiliated to the OIC.

"The sides will also exchange views on problems of the Islamic world and ways to settle them," the OIC chief said.

The 33rd meeting of OIC foreign ministers dubbed "Restoration of Rights, Freedom and Justice" is scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on June 19-21.
