EU-UNDP conduct regional seminar in Tbilisi

Fourth phase of the European Union and UNDP financed regional Southern Caucasus Anti-Drug Program (SCAD) is being realized.

In the frame of SCAD program's "Non- governmental organizations net" project, on 29-31 May a regional workshop was held in Tbilisi, Georgia. The seminar was dedicated to exchange of experience among the NGOs in the field of drug prevention.

In action, presented were the projects being implemented in each of three Caucasian republics and were highly appraised by the European Union experts.

At the same time, taking into account necessity of NGOs activity, beginning form 2007, the 5th Project of the SCAD Program was recommended to be implemented. This will aim at drug prevention, reduction of damage. The projects will be financed by the European Union and numerous world donor organizations.

Participants of the seminar were presented certificates, AzerTAg reports.
