European Azerbaijanis hold rally in Brussels in support of protests in Iran

The World Union of Azerbaijani Political Migrants told APA that though the city local authority and police department authorized the rally in Suman square in Brussels, the officials later on stated that the date of the rally should be changed. However, Azerbaijani immigrants held an unsanctioned rally. Police did not prevent the protesters.

The rally brought together Azerbaijanis from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, England, Demark and other European countries. A resolution was read in the end of the rally. The Union also said such actions will continue to be held in Europe. The next protest is due to be staged outside the Iranian Embassy in Den Hague, Dutch political capital June 14.
