Shahin Sayilov: "Armenians do not wish Armenian captive to return back"

Official state organs of Armenia and non-governmental organizations raise questions on existence of Armenian captives in Azerbaijan. In those information it is stated that as if those people are used as worker in heavy metallurgy and chemistry industry.

APA reports, according to State Commission secretary for Captive and Hostages, Missing People, Shahin Babayev, that at present one Armenian captive is there in Azerbaijan.

"At present, Abrik Petrosovich Abramyan, aged 65, mad man is in Azerbaijan. At present he is detained in Shuvelan detention place. Several times with regard to this matter, international organizations were applied to. But Armenians do not wish to take this person back."

State Committee secretary said that Azerbaijani side is ready to provide condition for international organizations to hold examinations in any time and conduct talks on condition not to show address.

"Information on existence of Armenian captives in Azerbaijan is mainly spread by the people whose child is supposed to be in captivity. They spread this information according to their personal investigation, present any baseless information to relevant state organs in Armenia, and they in their turn apply to international organizations to investigate this matter."
