President receives OSCE Secretary General

As AzerTAg reports, the OSCE Secretary General congratulated the Azerbaijani leader on the opening of the Session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers adding it is one more evidence of Azerbaijan‘s active involvement in the global processes.

Recalling the Black Sea Forum for Dialogue and Partnership recent recently in Romania, Mr. Brichambaut said its participants were deeply impressed by the speech the Azerbaijani President delivered at the event.

President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the 33rd Session of the Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers is of great importance for the country in terms of regional and international cooperation.

He pointed out the importance of Azerbaijan’s close cooperation with international organizations, and described the country’s foreign policy as veru successful.

Azerbaijan-OSCE cooperation and other issues of mutual concern were discussed during the conversation, as well.
