Echelon with military equipment withdrawn from Georgia to enter Azerbaijan

One more echelon loaded with weapons and military equipment of the Russian 62nd military base in Akhalkalak, Georgia, started from the Georgian Salka railway station at 9a.m yesterday.

The echelon will arrive at the Boyuk Kasik station of Azerbaijan at 6p.m today.

As APA reports, the 22-wagon echelon has been loaded with 47 military supplies, 17 of which are "Kub" typed Air Attack Defense System. It also carries other equipment of the base.

The echelon will be delivered to the Yalama station at 1:00p.m tomorrow under the motion schedule coordinated between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The security of the troop train to pass through Azerbaijan without any stop is provided by a small unit of the base in Akhalkalak and Azerbaijani Interior soldiers as well as the military unit of the Azerbaijan State Railway.

This is the sixth echelon to carry the weapons and military equipment from the base in Akhalkalak to Russia through Azerbaijan.
