Ukrainian Azerbaijani Congress separated

Several Congress members held a meeting in other venue explaining the reason by the UAC president Ogtay Afandiyev's not allowing them to the congress he held.

The separated group is led by the Congress member Akif Gulmammadov. The officials of the State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad attended both conferences of the congress. They failed to reconcile the Congress members.

As APA reports, the conference held by Gulmammadov has no legal base.

However, both sides welcomed the State Committee's initiative to reconcile them. The Committee said it will release further information on the situation.
