EU special representative Peter Semneby meets with Nizami Bahmanov and Elmar Mammadyarov

Nizami Bahmanov told journalists that views were exchanged on Nagorno Karabakh issue, arsons committed by Armenians in occupied Azerbaijani lands and results of monitoring conducted by OSCE chairman-in-office personal representative.

Mr. Semneby also met with FM Elmar Mammadyarov. Issues on relations between Azerbaijan and EU, and European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan were discussed at the meeting.

Mr. Semneby said that they discussed the issue on Nagorno Karabakh and how it is possible to move forward to achieve settlement of the conflict.

He also said that he met with head of Nagorno Karabakh Azerbaijani community, Nizami Bahmanov, and several representatives of international communities in Azerbaijan and discussed the issues on refugees and IDPs, APA reports.
