Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan comments on reports on support for Lebanon

The Ambassador said Iran supports justice. The diplomat refuted the reports on his country sending weapons and experts to Lebanon, APA reports.

He underlined that such hearsays aim at creating a view that Hezbollah and the Palestinian people are supported by no one but Iran.

"However, 90 percent of the world population supports Palestine. Palestinians have been struggling against Zionists for about 60 years and the Islamic Republic of Iran was not established that time. They have become refugees and are claiming their rights," the Iranian Ambassador said.
