President Aliyev meets WB official

Noting that the oil-gas projects being implemented promote development of the non-oil and private sectors, as well strengthens infrastructure in the country, President Aliyev said a strong economic policy is carried out to provide need of the population. "This policy is able to maintain the macro-economic stability,"?he emphasized.

Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with the World Bank and the discussions in this direction are very useful for us, he underlined.

Economic accomplishments achieved in Azerbaijan arouse deep interest in the World Bank and from the economic development point of view, Azerbaijani leads among the world countries, the WB official said. The guest assured that the right economic policy will able to preserve the leadership position and henceforth.
