New Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan arrives in Baku

The Ambassador told journalists at the airport that the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia have been developing and strengthening in a stable manner in particular recent years.

"President Putin ordered me to do my utmost to deepen and strengthen the relations," the Russian Ambassador said.

Mr.Istratov said all fields are chosen as priorities in cooperation adding there is a great potential for deepening the relations.

The Ambassador also said Russia and Azerbaijan take the same position in the international arena, "There is not a matter in which our countries strongly differ in their opinions".

As APA reports, Istratov will present the copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
