"Arkadi Gukasyan told me that he recognizes Azerbaijan's rights regarding the status of Nagorno Karabakh and they are ready to discuss it," the Helsinki civil Assembly Azerbaijan National Committee chair Arzu Abdullayeva told.

According to her, the separatist regime leader Arkadi Gukasyan accused the Azerbaijani press for its war propaganda, and official Baku for not taking concrete stance.

"In this situation I can't say to Nagorno Karabakh Armenians that "Azerbaijanis are your friends". He also added he doesn’t agree to use Aland model in solving the Nagorno Karabakh problem justifying his opinion by Azerbaijan's not being Finland."

As APA reports, Ms.Abdullayeva also said, Gukasyan claimed that the arsons were not committed by Armenians, but Azerbaijanis are carrying out bogus propaganda.

"But nobody would set fire to their own grain fields. On the other hand, the OSCE representatives have already monitored the area," Gukasyan also expressed his concern over the violation of the cease-fire.

"During the war we had contacts with Azeri counterparts. But today we do not have it. That's the reason of the breaking of the cease-fire."
