CoE new co-rapporteur to visit Azerbaijan in November

No high-level delegations' visits from the Council of Europe are expected to Azerbaijan soon, head of Azerbaijani permanent representative office in Council of Europe, Ambassador Agshin Mehdiyev told journalists.

Mr.Mehdiyev said the new Council of Europe co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan, British parliamentarian Tony Lloyd is expected to visit Azerbaijan in November this year, APA reports.

"The representatives of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities are also expected to visit Azerbaijan to monitor upcoming local elections in the country," Mehdiyev said.
