President Aliyev meets Moroccan delegation

President Ilham Aliyev said the visit creates favorable opportunities to expand relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco.

He stressed the developing political ties, but expressed his regret over poor economic relations and trade between the two countries.

The Azerbaijani leader also said the opening of Morocco's Embassy in Azerbaijan will contribute to further development of Azerbaijan-Morocco ties.

Mohand Laenser handed over to President Ilham Aliyev a letter from King Mohammed VI of Morocco.

In his letter, the King expressed hope in development of bilateral legal relations, and said his country is keen to step up its efforts towards strengthening trade and investment between the two countries.
