Azeri Premier meets Georgian President

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, who was in Batumi, Georgia, to attend the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Georgia intergovernmental economic commission, met August 18 in Tbilisi President Mikhail Saakashvili.

They stressed the developing economic cooperation between the two countries, and said such joint events contribute to enhancement of bilateral ties.

Artur Rasizade conveyed best wishes from President Ilham Aliyev to Mikhail Saakashvili and the people of Georgia.

Mr. Rasizade described the two-day meeting as fruitful, saying that the business forum, held in the framework of the meeting, will open new opportunities to expand entrepreneurship and attract investments into both countries.

Georgia's Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli was also present at the meeting.
