Deputy head of Gazakh executive power Farman Naghdeliyev told that to journalists, APA reports.
Naghdeliyev said the fire was brought under control by local firefighters with the help of soldiers and local residents after 6 hours. However, the fire caught 5000 hectares of pasture and farmlands.
Local residents said about 25-30 antitank and antipersonnel mines exploded during the fire.
