Ramiz Mehtiyev: "Conditions for the media are normal"

"To speak frankly, I am not acquainted myself with the letter of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media. But I think conditions for the media is normal in Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani media adapt them. Nobody should misuse the media. A frame was set on the media in the press law. Media should work within this law," chief of Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehtiyev said, APA reports.

He also touched upon the education in Azerbaijan. "Government is satisfied with the level of education. The Government of Azerbaijan has set some targets that is to say the education has some targets to reach."

He also took a stance on the dialogue between the opposition and the power. "The OSCE may be an initiative now. But it is our own business. The dialog will take place if necessary."

He also said that reforms in Azerbaijani Army are being implemented gradually. "We see great improvement and advancement in the Army. I think the Army carries out its duty today."
