Preliminary investigation on Azerbaijani former high ranking officials to end this month

Rizvan Talibov, chief the Committee to Defend Rights of Ali Insanov, former health minister, who is held in the National Security Ministry, stated.

Former head of the administrative department of the President's Office Akif Muradverdiyev, former economic development minister Farhad Aliyev, academic Eldar Salayev and others are accused of the case.

As APA reports, investigation on the former officials is under way.

Talibov also said he will appeal to law enforcement bodies for meeting with ex-minister.

"The ex-minister has serious health problems. The appeals for commuting his arrest have not been responded yet. I want to clarify some issues by meeting with him," he said.
