President Aliyev meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense

Head of the Azerbaijan State recalled his visit to Washington with great pleasure, noting large discussions on numerous aspects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States carried out during the visit. Azerbaijan-US bilateral relations successfully develop, President Aliyev said, expressing hope for further development of these links.

James MacDougall also noted success of President Aliyev's visit to Washington, the versatile cooperation between two countries.

Azerbaijan has been partner of the United States from the first day of global anti-terror fighting, Mr. MacDougall emphasized, expressing gratitude to the Azeri President for support rendered to his country in this field.
