Azerbaijan not recognize election in Moldova's separatist region of Transdnestr

Ziyafat Askarov, deputy head of the Milli Majlis stressed that Azerbaijani Parliament doesn't recognize elections held in this region. According to his words there is no need for the decision of the Milli Majlis because of the statement issued by Azerbaijani government unrecognizing the elections.

"Azerbaijan as independent state supports territorial integrity of Moldova and any elections can't involve Moldova's territory. At the same time we are members of the GUAM, international organization. And Moldova always respects territorial integrity of Azerbaijan," he stated.
