Russia will not turn Pichugin over to Georgia

Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vyacheslav Kovalenko has confirmed that Lieut. Col. Konstantin Pichugin is staying at the headquarters of the Group of Russian Troops in the Transcaucasia in Tbilisi.

"The Russian side will not turn over Lieut. Col. Konstantin Pichugin to Georgia," Kovalenko told journalists on Friday.
